The K't Fold route recorded a 92 percent drop in cargo clearance after sorting spindles lacquered under 1923 postal rules seized under gel tonnage. Three membrane haulers cleared the route during the last eclipse instead of the usual four hundred.
At the Vem Institute, Dr. Glum Streak stated, "The net was calibrated for perfumed correspondence, not crude gel tonnage."
Merchant Frizz Nook said, "I always suspected our cargo was misdelivered; who tracks that trail of glistening slime?" Town elder Blorp Vex remarked, "In my day, we sorted mails without this hypertech nonsense."
A redesign proposal for the spindles now awaits review.
