This initiative mandates that all government forms include a new section labeled 'Truthfulness Assessment,' posing 27 intricate questions about the applicant's honesty, effectively paralyzing bureaucratic functions nationwide.
Citizens are now obligated to submit 'Truth Accountability Reports' every quarter, detailing not only their daily activities but also any potential 'non-truths' they might have overheard. Local resident Mildred Flapjack remarked, “My neighbor’s claim that her tulips are the tallest in the county could be a potential breach of truthfulness, and I’m simply too busy to write that down. But what if the inspectors come?”
To ensure compliance, the initiative has led to the hiring of a vast array of so-called 'Truth Auditors' tasked with verifying that no one inadvertently misinterprets the concept of truth.
